I have not seen garter snakes or indigo snakes do this. Rat snakes, king snakes and gopher snakes do it also when caught by a predator i was shocked that racers and coachwhips do it also as both of these snakes do not use constriction to kill they prey. BUt the fact that they can use constriction on predators means that these 2 snakes have the ability constrict just as good as a rat or king if they wanted to?
