Posted by: RSedgwick at Fri Aug 12 06:44:39 2011 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by RSedgwick ] I bought a pair of hatchling generic gray-bands at a show last weekend. I was assured they were feeding on live. I have been unable to get them to eat live, or washed and scented live. I tried scenting with FT skink and ft anole form last year. No luck so far. I have tried feeding from forceps and leaving them in a small hide over night. Any suggestions would be appreciated. How warm do I need to keep hatchlings to get them to feed? I have turned off the tape to all my racks as it stays warm in my basement this time of year. They have showed not interest in food at all. Holding a piece of anole or skink in front of them did nothing for them. I have been raising annulata and they can be tough but respond to anoles.
