New to carpets question

I for the 1st time ever hatched out some carpet pythons. Some are very pink and red while others are dark and normal looking. attached is a picture of one that did not make it but I do have survivors that are this color and even lighter. I will post once they I have a better camera. Here is a a general idea of what they look like is this normal?
