Hello! I'm new to the forum part of this site. I used to take advantage of the classified part of Kingsnake.com.

Anyways, I have some Iguana questions. I have an adult male iguana. His name is Gus. I acquired him out of pity, (I knew of someone who knew of someone who was taking their iguana to the pound because they didn't want him anymore). LONG story short, he was NOT a baby iguana and was NOT taken care of. He was covered in bad burns from the owner keeping the light INSIDE of the case. Even through all of this, he is the SWEETEST male iguana ever. He's well behaved and actually is fairly friendly. Needless to say, I acquired an iguana and now I love him.

For the past couple of years, he's been kept in the largest ferret cage I was able to find. Now that I live without roommates, I want to build him a larger cage...something more appropriate for an adult. I want to make something with a few ledges for him to chill out on, and overall just better for him.

What do my fellow iguana owners do for housing? If you wanted to email me pictures or attach pictures, that'd be GREAT. I'm starting to put a plan together so I can get this project started!
