When you say his neck do you mean his beard area or somewhere else? What color is his stomach? It may be nothing to worry about... beardies can change color like that but a photo wuld be helpful. They can get dark for simple reasons like being cold or being annoyed. Someimes Fluffy's beard and neck get dark right after he eats crickets if he eats too many too fast. Also sometimes I think they look a little lighter when they are about to shed and maybe that is making some spots look darker compared to the lighter shedding areas. Since he is a baby he could be going to shed his body skin because he is growing. If you can post a picture of him when he is dark it would help.
