I guess I wasn't as eloquent as you just were. ANYONE can provide pictures and data and submit it to claim locality - doesn't make it valid - also doesn't make it invalid - just allows you to return to the fallback position of trusting the person themselves. A person could easily pick up some generic alterna at a show, take pictures of them, make up some locality collecting data, submit it and become a breeder. As long as there are no other pictures of those snakes out there for someone to contradict them then they suddenly have 'locality' animals. I'm not saying that this happens or has happened as frankly I just don't see the rationale or motive behind it but the fact remains that it COULD happen.
