thank you soooo much for that information. I did decide after much research that it was a columbian boa (possibly a red tail) but indeed NOT the red tail I was looking for !! Thank you for the information on posting pictures ! and yes I would probably be the one who posted imbarassing multiply picture postings. I was difficult to find information on the different color morphs or species of red tail boas. If you know of a web site and could share it with me that would be awesome !!
