I just want to say thank you to everyone for all the emails and messages. This is a great forum to share experiences about these challenging and rewarding animals. I know that I've learned more about green anaconda husbandry on this forum than I have from any other source. Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences.
The babies are doing well and many have shed for the first time. I set them up individually this weekend and I'm looking forward to getting them started.
I wanted to share a couple more photos of interest. One is Anna Banana pre-parturition. She was HUGE for a long, long time. Watching her over the last month caused a blend of excitement and stress that still keeps me up some nights.
I was very lucky to capture the other picture. Anna Banana had gently mouthed one of the live babies and released it as soon as it moved. It was thrilling to be able observe this behavior first hand.
Again, thanks for all the messages and contributions to this forum
