As Jack Hannah (Columbus Zoo) urges the OH governor to ennact emergency legislation, lets remember the rattlesnake that escaped from Zoo Atlanta last year and turned up in a nearby neighborhood and the prarie dogs that escaped from Columbus Zoo earlier this year.

AZA zoos want a monopoly on animals.


And 99% of private herp keepers won't care. As long as ballsack pythons are safe most herp keepers will remain apathetic.

The state of this hobby is disgusting. All we can hope for is that big brother will be too broke to enforce all their stupid laws.
