Of course, the "correct" (scientifically accurate) designation is Morelia bredli, which is why many keepers refer to the animals simply as "bredli" for short.

But you should feel free to use any and all of the common names (Bredl's python; centralian python; centralian carpet python). I go back and forth myself, but I like the ring of "centralian" for some reason.

Much more importantly, they are wonderful captives. I adore my young pair and look forward to working with these animals for the rest of my life. Easily my favorite snake to this point!
