I just hatched out a pair of crested x gargoyle hybrids from an accidental breeding.I bought a crested female and a gorgeous red gargoyle male from a guy on craigslist, he had them cohabiting the same tank.he said that she had laid eggs before, and he never found them in time, they always dried up.so I got them from him, mainly to build a gargoyle colony around the male.so I take them home, set them up in separate quarantine tanks, and catch her nesting about a month later.they had been together since hatchlings, more or less, with no other geckos present.
The eggs took well past the usual 3 months or so, almost 4 1/2 months actually.I gave up on them hatching, actually just set them aside, and never got around to tossing them.good thing, huh?
I have no idea on how to post pics, but if anyone would like a pic, feel free to email me, and I'll send you some.they may or may not be available , I haven't decided yet.
