I bought it as a small baby and checked then. At that size it looked like a male to me and never thought to re-check. Well of course ive been placing it in with my girls with no luck lol so I thought I would be 100% sure and what do you know its a female! Made me feel pretty silly Either way there is another breeder here is florida that I am in the middle of working out a co-breeding program with that has another paradox purple that is a proven male. So Im very hopeful about that! I can keep you updated if you would like to see if we pair two together if we get whole clutches of purple babies!
