Hey guys. I need help. I recently rescued a Cuban rock iguana from a kid who had it in a 75 gal tank all beat up. Yes this iguana is beat up. It's got a big scar in the head which seems to be healing ok. He said he had escaped. But anyway he's in bad shape. He's missing a lot of toes. Tail is missing like 3" he's very skinny and dehydrated. He also has some other scars which I discovered after I got him home. Some of his other nails look like they had been clipped with a nail clipper really close to each toe. So it looks really bad too. Oh he never told me the age of the iguana, but he's a little over 3' long. Reason why I took this animal it's cus he looked like he had been mistreated for years n I didn't want it to continue. I dont want to post pics because he's that bad.

Now to my questions. I need help with diet, temperature, humidity, cage size, treatment, vitamin supplements, and anything else that might help. I know I'm asking for a lot but I just couldn't let this continue. I have experience with big lizards, I have had BW tegus, a savannas monitor and now I own black throat monitors. So i have experience with big lizards. But I don't know anything about iguanas. And I want the right info about how to nurse him back to health. Btw I'm already looking at vets around my city who specialize in reptiles. But any little thing helps.

Thank you in advance guys. Any little thing will help me a whole lot.

Cheers
