About 9 hours , it went on into the night, so I am not sure when they finally finished. Some guys say they seemingly in a trance, but I choose not to disturb them when they are mating. For sure they have great stamina as breeders, and hopefully your pair will make repeated intromissions. Congratulations on getting over a major hurdle, and I wish you the best of luck if you are blessed with fertile eggs. I have a pair copulating as I write, it seems later each year for mine here in the low desert of So. California. Vic
