You can use human nail clippers, if sharp, or cat clippers. Just be careful of the live part of the nail,the quick. Typically you cansee this by looking at the side of the nail, if dark or anywhere if clear nailed.



You can also help keep the nails from growing too much by adding rough surfaces into the cage..like a piece of slate tile (not ceramic, as most are too smooth) flat stones, or similar rough surfaces. I place it in an relatively open area where they are more likely to run across it regularly
