Would you say they are easy to maintain or not. I had one for approx. seven months. It ate great and grew like crazy. I was meticulous about water quality and diet. All was great until I discovered a little patch of fungus on its carapace. I raised the temp, added a little salt and watched and waited. Then I noticed some localized bleeding. I took it to the vet, got an antibiotic, brought it home and it died. I can't think of anythinh I could have done differently. What's your experience with these guys? They're great turtles and I'd like to get another but I don't want a repeat of my first experience
