Okay, so My sons brought home 2 snakes today they found in the grass outside. They are just the common little grass snakes you find around here. They are greyish in color with white undersides. Just looking for the species so we can feed them properly. We had a Ball Python for years and he passed last year due to old age and I think my boys want to try to keep these little guys. I will try to get a pic posted but I am sure you all will identify them before then. I also didn't think they should be housed together but the kids found them together. Will they eat each other? They are fairly small 4-6 inches, small barrel nosed faces. Very docile. Any help would be appreciated. they will be in a 100 gallon tank if I let them keep them.
We live in North Texas Dallas Fort Worth area. Thanks ----- Human boys 2&7 Ball python 1 male American pit bull terriers 3 (2male,1 fem) Ferret 1 male Fish ????
