Bubblegum ratsnakes are a man-made albino combination of three ratsnakes,.....the Black Ratsnake, Yellow Ratsnake, and the Everglades Ratsnake. The albino(amelanistic) gene of their equation was added in the mix from the albino Black ratsnake. They were originated by Bill Love way back around 1990.

They can vary quite a bit too, and can range from a solid pale pink, orange-ish red, to bright contrasting orange and pink with a very vivid blotched pattern, and anything in between.
