Just had a quick question. I usually am not in this forum, as I mostly own various sp. of snake.

I do however own some Coleonyx variegatus variegatus and C.v. bogerti and breed them just for fun. I usually keep them in 40 gallon vivariums in small colonies and at this time of year I just leave the windows open at night to gradually cool them, but this year I have anerys that I want to remove from their enclosure and breed so that I can ensure success with the eggs. Since I am doing it this way this year, I am running into the question of how long they should go without eating before I place them into the exo terra cooler that will bring them into a constant high 60s temperature. Also what would a recommended temperature be??

As stated before, this is the first time I am going to bring there constant temps lower than what they could have gotten to in the house previously because in their vivariums they have A LOT of subterranean areas to go and stay. Almost all of the rocks lead to caves down at the false bottom under the dirt and soil.

Below is also a picture of my male anery banded gecko.
