Long answer short, I appologize for any iPad retypes... Dwarf refers to Jampea and Kayuadi island morphs which are islands close to each other just south of Sulawesi and north of Timor and sumbawa. Super dwarf refers to animals of similar subspecific designation from other islands in a similar area lesser bonerate as I recall? Afaik if captive born and fed ad lib all get pretty big but not as big as other typical Retic morphs. Animals fed modestly can stay small and breed smaller than other morphs and if managed this way offer big Retic personality in a much smaller package.
They all also have a reputation as less bite aggressive and more flighty when stressed as far as handling is concerned.
Seems not a lot of people breed pure dwarf or superseded morphs in captivity. I hope to produce a clutch of Kayuadi dwarfs this winter again. Winslow
