Hey guys,

New username but not new to the forums. I can't recall my old password, also haven't been on a for a good while.

Anyway so I stopped by a local shop to get some mealworms today and found they had a uro in, so I asked to take a look as it was hiding. They had been told it was a mali but labeled it as a Saharan. This little dude is clearly either a Benti or Philbyi. Flat top to the tail, large white occelations down the back, overall white/grey with orange hue coming in around the head and dorsal area. I am assuming that this dude is a Benti, as there are no femoral pores. I purchased the little champ for 60 dollars. He's about 8 inches, decent meat on the legs and tail no soft bones good muscle tone clear eyes just a bit skinny in the belly. I took it home, gave it a quick soak in hot water, then set it up with all the necessary stuff. The little guy is a little skittish, but not too bad. Immediately ate some bok choy and other greens, and he's active and basking like a champ.

I can upload a picture if needed, but it would be awesome to get any tips here, I have never worked with this species before. I have a young egyptian and I have had many species of uro in the past so he's set up just fine I am just wondering if anyone has any good tips for these guys, also any thing to watch out for. All this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Phil
