"Did you take any pics during construction? I take it it was one of the one piece units that had a top on it and you framed around it and under it with lumber then sheethed it with something.
then coco bark and silicone on the inside?

How do you think the acrylic will hold up to the soil weight.

How did you buld the doors? Im curious if you used or think you could use shower doors hmmmm"

Yes, I have photos of the process.
This is my 5th build using one piece bathtub or shower stall units.

They can be bought at any of the home improvement stores.
I only screw in the top (plywood).
The rest of it is all fiberglass with gelcoat over it.
This is how they are made.
All you have to do is build the top.
No framing needed, these are very strong out of the gate!

I hand troweled 100% brown silicone, then broadcasted on the orchid bark and packed it into the silicone.

Substrate weight has never been an issue.
I have used the tub for substrate as well as just straight water.
Here is a photo of my one piece shower stall for my Prasinus.

No substrate in this one, I siliconed a piece of plexi to the front and filled it with water.

The doors are indeed store bought shower/bathtub doors.
