Posted by: a153fish at Wed Jan 11 09:15:09 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by a153fish ] What I like about it is that the Turtles get to swim in the entire tank, where as with most Turtle tanks you have to use part of the upper section for some kind of leadge, or shelf for them to crawl onto. Then you have to use a smaller less powerful filter, or buy one of those special tanks that have one side cut for the filter, but then you still loose a lot of swimming area. This Idea can be tweaked in many ways also. You can use an extra long tub and practically make a second floor over much of the top of the tank, and of course the ramp can be larger to accomodate larger Turtles, or a group of Turtles.
