Also, you can give him some canned pumpkin. It's a natural laxative; he should poop it right out. I've seen a vet do this a couple time and it worked. Make sure it's just plain canned pumpkin with nothing added like salt, sugar and herbs...no pumpkin pie filling because it has sugar and salt added.
