Dear TinaMarie, welcome to the forum. I would try to get multiple copulations from your pair while they are still in the mood. I have some that copulate off and on for several weeks...so if they seem agreeable, I would keep reintroducing them and hope for multiple lock ups.

I am not the fan of perlite that some are, but I use about .08 to 1 by weight as a start. I use vermiculite, but I have had good results with either. I find dryer is often better, and I used to obsess on the dampness of the substrate when in fact, that allows a fair degree of variation. Avoid "dynamic" dripping water on the eggs, beware of too much condensing on the incubator lid.

You have crossed the first of several hurdles on the way to successful breeding, good luck and let them have a good time while they are in the mood. Vic
