People don't realize the changing environment caused by the introduction of non-native, invasive plants. Forestes have changed dramatically over the decades due to this, but few people can ID plants and so it all looks "normal". The changing plant communities have had dramatic, negative effects on plants and wildlife, and yet many of these plants are still for sale at your local garden center.
