>>I'm considering getting a Gila Monster merely as a display animal. I already have nice Boaphile cages and will be able to maintain heat and etc, but I'm wondering how Gilas do as display animals? Do they stay in the same place for hours or days or do they become active in the evening and can be found moving around? Thanks.

My understanding from what I have been told is adults are fairly docile, but there is something about UV and natural sunlight that really kick starts them. Hopefully Steve Angeli will see this and respond.
