I suppose it's not likely the sort of issue we could get any candidate to consider much less state a position. Even if they did obviously many wouldn't make it the issue to override all their other leanings but some might be on the fence enough to make it a factor. Those will just have to judge for themselves which party has more propensity for restricting personal liberty.
