Some of the petco blues are still blue. This is Tazumal. I bought him from Petco on June 5. I actually bought two but both had a lot of health problems and despite our best efforts and lots of vet bills, Arwen died at the end of September. One thing I looked for when I bought both of them was very blue bellies.

My friend who works with wild iguanas said that she thinks these were shipped very very young. Tazumal had to have spent a month in quarantine yet was only 3 inches SVL when I got him.

Here is a picture of how he looks now. He is at least nine months old. I snapped this one with my phone when we took him to the garden center recently. He had a wonderful time and seems to have a very sweet disposition. It's still possible that he will turn, but so far, so blue.
