If USFWS had allowed for interstate movement with permits, and permits are $25, I wonder how much this would have brought to the agency in perpetuity?

Seems to me that not going with the permit option just shows how incompetent and contemptible that government bureaucrats are. They make commerce a felony and will spend taxpayer money to try and imprison you, instead of allowing you to earn your own living and pay taxes, contributing to the economy. Who is going to pay their salaries when everyone is in prison?
