Last week he had the first bad shed of his life. he's about 5 years old now. he had a large chunk stuck to his entire face. i removed it and all seemed well except for a slight amount of moisture on his nose. i had to leave for a work trip the next morning and wasn't able to check on him for a few days. my brother keeps him watered when i'm not around and he is only hand fed these days. his appetite has been up and down his entire life, but up until this last shed he was eating at least once a week. when i got home on friday i noticed where the wetness had been looked swollen on his nose and now today i see his upper gum is receding. any ideas on treatment? also i'm in the Denver area does anyone have a suggestion on a good vet to take him too. i'm attaching a picture from this morning of his face. any help is appreciated thank you.
