Way cool! Totally awesomely cool! All my saguaros were planted when my dad sold his house, so they're still there with any luck. Same goes for my ocotillo and my chollas and other opuntias, so its great to see that at least one of the rescues is doing well! We saved all those from a 40 acre tract of land they were clearing for a school. Supposedly, they had alrady gleened the plot for saguaro(quite protected in AZ) but I pulled all those tykes and my boss saved a bunch out as well. Nice adherence to the building code by a state-paid firm. Of course I was a bit nervous coming home that day with like $120,000 worth of fines and who knows how many years, in a place I d much rather never go, rollin about in the back of that vanagon I had back then. But they would all have been bulldozed the next day, so I have and qualms with my part in their removal. And it pleases me to know one dwells outside your front door! I hope to pay it a visit, as well as one to the great ape and his mrs., before too long, though it has been such already... Thanks for the pic, Frank!
