Posted by: Buffysmom at Mon Feb 6 13:20:20 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Buffysmom ] My mossy frog (4 yrs old) has eaten crickets her whole life & now has developed cholesterol deposits, clouding her vision. The vet recommended switching food sources as crickets have been documented to have this effect on some species of tree frogs. It's been about 2 weeks, I've offered meal worms, super worms, baby nightcrawlers & butter worms with no luck. She won't even try for them, but will still snatch up crix. Any suggestions on getting her switched over? [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
