Females normally are in breeding mode this time of year. Mine usually start going off feed in Oct-Nov. and it lasts until about March or April for the males, and April to May for the females.
Keep in mind they are a more inquisitive species so the roaming may just be the snake paying attention to the activity in the room. When they are hungry they will definitely eat. I usually use them as the clean up crew for my ball pythons. Any thawed rats not eaten by them are more tan welcomed by my Womas (except during breeding season).
