The male (in front in the photo--he was mate-guarding the day I took the shot--which explains why he's giving me the stink eye) is over five feet long and eats half-grown rats. The female is pushing five feet and also eats half-grown rats. I bred them in 2011 for the first time and their babies were predictably fabulous--a six-month old holdback hatchling is shown.
