I cant imagine how much the learning curve for herpers has been shortened through these forums. There are problems though. The biggest being a person with limited expirience trying to decipher who knows what and who to listen to. We are all on information overload and its so so so sad that when the "Para's" of the world start typing about things they know NOTHING about it LENGTHENS "newbies" learning curve, and the MONITOR SUFFERS. These f-ing idiots who muddy the waters when the FR's of the world are giving solid direction are so incredibly vexing...to the point they indirectly kill monitors. People can only comprehend so much and while "listening" to these arguements play out they become frustrated. If QUALIFIED persons could just give advice to people with questions then THEIR(the professional) time and energy could truly be harnessed by our herpng community. BUT just to make one point that is so clear to real herpers causes so much work even the qualified persons get tired. That is such a waste of resource. Out of respect for those with success and if they really care about herps they would quit this..."I gotcha Mr. Expert" attitude and quit confusing the issues. Often such in Paras case the 'i got you" isnt even relevant and they are too inexpirienced AND herp stupid to know they are wrong. My vote would be for the moderators to do something(even though censorship sucks its better than inefficient ways of learning.
