Hello Acid lizard,

First of all, welcome! Most of the monitor species can mature sexually and even reproduce at approximately half (or even before) of their adult size. By what I have been told and seen here, sexual maturity happens within a year to 18 months if the animals are given heat, food and other necessary provisions. Are you planning to mate him up?
