Well..not what I wanted to hear, but kinda what I thought. My 2007 female bred for me the first time. She laid 5 eggs for me Sunday night. All came out white and appeared smooth, however they seemed to turn yellow rather quickly. I have them in the incubator now and they appear to look the same as they did then. Guess I'm trying to be optimistic here..lol. Regardless I am so relieved she is fine after her 1st attempt. I have read so many horror stories!
As I mentioned she is a 2007 animal, just over 5 feet, the male is also a 2007 and approaching 7 feet. In a bitter sweet way I feel
relieved and as we say in Cleveland, wait til next year.
