Posted by: gerryg at Mon Mar 12 16:05:21 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by gerryg ] I spotted it crossing an old overgrown field, it was approaching an old abandoned house, the fox and I were on opposite sides of the house so when it went out of my view I walked quickly to the corner of the house diagonally opposite the one were the fox had disappeared from view... hunkered down and hoped the fox was going to skirt the house... it did, and as you can see from what looks like a surprised look on its face, all but walked into me. It was all rather funny. Wish I had the camera angled down more to better catch just how hard he jammed those front legs into the ground to come to a stop but he only gave me the chance at the one shot.
