Posted by: reticguy76 at Sat Mar 17 19:31:18 2012 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by reticguy76 ] most of the time, it will go away. some snakes will always do that when handled or out of their natural accustomed micro-environemnt. usually its a nervousness and reluctance to be handled, but usually they get over it. handle the snake for 15 minutes or so everyday for the next couple of weeks. if he thrashes or does that or tries to bite, keep handling and dont let him go. otherwise, they associate that with getting free. retics are very smart reptiles. obviously, dont handle when fed for a day or two [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Hide Replies ]
