Yes I have seen these several times, I had a vet advice me to just slit it clean it an put monkey blood on there for the infection. Much cheaper than surgery and has worked so far. One note if the infection is internal rather than just below the surface this won't work. I have found all but one caseive seen has been close to the surface,only one animal had it deep internally
