The kicker is, they don't HAVE to publicize new laws. It's the citizens responsibility to spend every waking moment familiarizing themselves to all the bogus crap that lawmakers are shoving down our throats. case in point... I have NEVER seen anything publicized about tinting windows on your car other than they can't have the limo tint where you can't see through them, well this didn't keep me from having to pay $190 ticket for my car windows being too dark (they weren't THAT dark either). I bought the car with the windows just the way they were from the factory. This law was passed AFTER my car came out, had to pay it anyway. SO, ignorance of the no shipping laws for certain species will be no excuse. Owners of ANY animal needs to be aware of any laws, local, county, state, or federal pertaining to their species. We all know people won't even look for care sheets for the most part, much less research laws. We can only hope that the poor sot who gets caught shipping one of the restricted species gets a high profile story so maybe a few more will become aware.
