This past week all three animals have shown little interest in food. I figured out why when I caught the male with the larger female a few days ago. I wasn't able to confirm they were breeding as they had gone behind the stump in the enclosure and I could only view their tails. Once back there the female stopped moving and I could see the male was able to slip his tail under the females but that's all I could see. Today I was able to snap a picture (sorry for the quality, it was taken through the window of the enclosure which needs to be cleaned). I am now going crazy with anticipation! I still have a long way to go but atleast I am moving forward! I have not caught the male with the smaller female yet but she has also shown alot of interest in the nest box. I hope you enjoy this picture as much as I am! As far as I know this would be the first US Breeding of V. cumingi here in the states. Still a long way away from the first Captive Bred V. cumingi in the US. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
