>>So I know this form is mainly for burms, but I have a question regarding this issue only it is for the yellow anacondas. >>I am wondering if you can breed/sell baby yellow anacondas within your state (breeders) without needing a permit. Or did the new law make it required to obtain a permit to not only transport but to also breed and sell within state? I live in California and know it’s not legal to cross lines but want to be sure it’s not needed for a breeding permit also. >>
All species outlined by the addition to the lacey act (burms, yellow anacondas, both af rocks) are banned from interstate travel.
Intrastate (within your state) is governed by your local laws. If your state does not have a law against any of these species, check your county (or the county you are selling to). If you come up clear there, check your city.
As long as it is legal in your city, county and state, you may do it. ----- Cindy Steinle PHFaust Visit kingsnake on Facebook! Follow Kingsnake on Twitter!
