I'm not familiar with this species and even if I were, I wouldn't feel confident about giving an opinion on sex. However, what I can tell you is I have two Malis that were given to me by a rescue - they were supposedly a m/f pair and both roughly 2.5 years of age (possibly true-ish based on size). The "female" turned out to be male, but didn't get his adult coloring for an additional two years. So you never know - some are just late bloomers.
If you got your uro from a reputable source, chances are it's the correct sex, though anyone can make a mistake. And the color may not come in for a while, or even at all - there are female-mimic males out there. ----- Torey Eugene, Oregon, USA 1.2 Saharan Uros (Joe, Arthur, and Hitch) 3.0 Mali Uros (Spike, Turtle, and Tank) 1.1 Ornate Uros (Scuttlebutt and Shazzbot) 1.2 Collared Lizards (Ripcord, Thiamine, and Riboflavin) 1.0 Green Anoles (Sprocket) 1.1 Housecats (Roscolux and Jenny)
