I'm nearly finished building a 30" x 18" x 18" (l x w x h) cage, and I have absolutely no idea what to put in it. I started this project about a month ago, thinking I'd have it figured out by now, but I don't!

My wife refuses to let me have a snake, and I'm not a huge fan of keeping amphibians at the moment, so I'm determined to put a lizard (or lizards) in there.

I've kept snakes and amphibians before, but this will be my first lizard. Originally, I thought I'd get a hatchling cb Uro and then build a larger enclosure in a year or so after we move, but I've nixed that idea; I want something that won't need a cage upgrade in the future.

So, if you had this enclosure just sitting there....what would you put in it?

(And apologies for another "What should I get post," but I'm genuinely lost right now!)
