Hey Everyone,

I work in a pet store and I really wish we didn't sell red-eared sliders but we do. Unfortunately, it is not up to me. The last batch that was sent to us were not in the best of shape. We got in baby maps and red-eareds, and most of them died. Never had this many die before. We have all the turtle necessities (UV light, heat lamp, filter, water conditioner, floating dock, etc.) They get the best care we can give them. Water changes are being done regularly and treated with water conditioner every time we do a change. The ones left are some red-eared sliders and they pretty much all have closed, swollen, puffy eyes. We've been treating them with the Zoo Med Turtle Eye Drops daily, and it does not seem to be getting any better. Taking the turtles to a vet probably wouldn't be an option as the company wouldn't be willing to pay vet bills for cheap little turtles. I just wanted to see what other people are doing and get some opinions on what more I can do to treat this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
