It's not anything coxi are specifically known for in my experience. Mine have generally laid within a 24 hour period. I have had one lay a bad egg or two and then lay the rest of the eggs which were good, 3 or 4 days later. The good ones were laid the same day though.
I have had different species lay their eggs like your talking about, over a few days time but most or all of them were bad or went bad. The same female will usually lay a perfect clutch the next time though.
