I'm not sure if I have a problem or not...Here's what's going on:
I have a 5 1/2 year old hypolavender male corn snake that I have had since early December. He's very active, eats well(every other week), seems healthy as can be. warm end of the cage is in the mid 80s, cool end in the mid 70s with a slightly damp hide on the cool end for when he 'goes blue.'....Don't know if that info might be helpful.
My question/concern is that since acquiring him in early December, he has shed(cleanly) pretty much every 4 weeks on the dot. For an adult snake, is that too often? He doesn't have any injuries that I can tell which might make him shed more. I just want to know if that's normal/ok?
I have a 1 1/2 year old Brazilian Rainbow boa as well, who is still obviously growing, so I expect him to shed every 4-6 weeks. I just don't know how often is normal for an adult corn!
Thanks for any advice/feedback!
