I took my Ra to the vet(march 2nd), he wasn’t eating at all besides a few bites of greens. He has always had a small appetite, but it was declining. Long story short and several hundreds of dollars later all of my guys were treated for coccidia, and several nematodes(treated with panacur, flagyl and albon). I did use a probiotic while they were being treated. The others are fine, eating great acting better than ever. But Ra’s appetite is not picking up. I am pretty sure he has had it ever since I got him, that would explain why I would feed him tons and he never seemed to pick up weight as well as the others. The vet said he had never seen coccidia levels so high and he has treated tons of reptiles being one of the only qualified herp vets in my state. Now onto the question: What could I do to get him eating on his own? His fecals were clear now(except for small amounts of pin worms that my vet said were fine), but he just doesn’t seem to want to eat. I am feeding him a mix of calcium, jumpstart, electrolytes and acidophilus , along with crickets, greens and dubia but he only eats them when I push them in his mouth. He is active, and gaining weight. He has gained a good bit of weight. I just have no clue why he will not eat on his own. Some help on this would be appreciated! I noticed that http://www.beardeddragons.co/beardeddragon/ has some critical care, but I don’t know if it is a good idea to use for him or not.
